CERID Investigator Michael Gale Jr. working on Ebola treatment

CERID Investigator Michael Gale Jr was recently profiled in the Seattle Times for his work on developing an antiviral treatment for Ebola and other viruses including West Nile Virus and Dengue Fever.

In collaboration with local biotech company Kineta, Dr. Gale has worked to identify compounds that disrupt the spread of viruses like Ebola in lab experiements on mice and human cells.
