Dr. Van Voorhis Awarded C-Path’s Translational Therapeutics Accelerator Grant

Dr. Wesley C. Van Voorhis (Professor, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Adjunct Professor, Department of Microbiology) has been awarded Critical Path Institute’s® (C-Path) Translational Therapeutics Accelerator Grant Award of $501,000 to support advancement of a promising new therapeutic candidate for cryptosporidiosis, a devastating diarrheal disease that disproportionately affects young children in low-income and middle-income countries.
