Overview
Cellular innate immunity is an antiviral response that attempts to stop invading viruses from establishing infection.
This response is manifested with the detection of viral components by the host cell, followed by transduction of antiviral signals, transcription and translation of antiviral effectors and leads to the establishment of an antiviral state.
