Dr. Javeed Shah receives Merit Review Award from VA-ORD, “Mechanisms of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-induced Inflammation.”

Dr. Javeed Shah has received a Merit Review Award from the VA Office of Research and Development (VA-ORD) for his project, “Mechanisms of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-induced Inflammation.”

In this project, Dr. Shah and his team will interrogate the effects of the gene GADD34, a key regulator of the integrated stress response, on Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis.
